Looking Good
Hi all, Just a small update. Just got back from the Gym, 20mins Bike. 20mins Cross, 10mins Stepper, 30mins Muscle. Still keeping of the treadmill till i build more strenght in me legs. Still enjoying.

Keeping it going
Well, Its a month since i started and though I'm not running much i think i have made a great start. Considering i have not been to the gym for 18 years, thinks look good. Last night i done 25Min's (10mile) on the bike, 2000m in 9.47Min's (best so far) and 15 Min's on the cross trainer. A month ago i couldn't get near that. I'm laying of the run a Little bit till i get fit.

Update!!
Started a new training regime to give my shins a rest. Mainly concentrating on CV. NO running.
20mins bike. 10mins step, 15mins rowing. 10mins cross trainer. Then 10mins swimming.

Oh No!!! Shin Splits
Not had a good day, running on the treadmill was too much, my shins started to hurt. Could be shin splits. not good. have to lay of the running for a while and concentrate on my fitness levels with swimming and bike etc. try building the leg muscle slowly......

DING DING!! Weight In
13st 1lb. Lost one lb this week. Body seems to be slightly changing. Wish i was losing more faster, but people keep saying that the exercise is turning some fat into muscle, so it will take long. Let me know what you think..

3rd Week - Still Here
Hi, Well, It's my 3rd week and I'm still commited to losing weight and training. Just came back from the gym, done, 1 mile run, 7 miles bike, 10 mins cross trainer and 60 mins muscle toning. Felt really good. Worn out, but in a nice way. Still haven't started any training goals for running, need to lose weight and become fitter. Have another 1-2-1 with the gym soon.

What A DAY
Well Work interuprted my schedule, After finishing at 9pm, going to the gym was out of the question. So I grapped some food and went out for a jog. Whilst i ran futher without stopping(road runnning) i couldn't do the mile without stopping a few times. Stich, stomach ache.. I thinks eating and running doesn't really work.... Well going tonight and swimming Sat. So that should make up for it.

DING DING!! Weight In
WHOPPPEEEE, I have lost another 2lbs. That means i'm 13stone 2. The lowest weight for over 2 years. YEAH!!!! (COME ON)

Early Bird
Well, I shocked the GYM. I arrived for a early morning session as my wife went to watch Boyzone last night, meaning i was on baby sitting duties.
So at 6.45 i arrived for a early (yaaawwwn) session.. Must admit, very hard. Need to work on building muscle in my legs. All in all had a good time. Looking forward to tomorrow's weigh in.

Mile Stone
Well it took me two weeks. I ran 1 mile complete without stopping on the treadmill. 8 mins. Phew. Only 25.2 more to go.

2nd Session Under Belt!!
Just completed my second session at the gym. Ran 0.8mile with out stopping after completing 15 minutes rowing and 10 minutes on the cross trainer. Completed the mile, then collapsed and died!!!

Gym Membership Confirmed
Well, I have signed a 12month contract with GL-14 Health Club, Induction book in for Monday. Then 1-2-1, Looking good. A shame i don't, I'm shattered. But in a good way.

2nd Jog Completed.
Tonight i went for my 2nd Jog, 1.2miles. Still very much hard work. I stopped numerous times. but my muscles moved more, more leg movement than before. more determined than ever..
Day 3 In the Marathon House Hold
Day 3: Training today to commence - Lets see if i can beat my last time. Diet going well, weight was 13stone 9, so lets see what happens. Video link to be update soon.

Gold Bond Place Confirmed
Deafness Research UK have confirmed my place today. No going back!!!. I shall also be joining a Gym and swimming exercising etc. so keep watching.

WOW!!! Not 1/2 Mile - 1.2 Miles, I checked the distance today. So that means 7 hours i shall complete the target 26.2miles. My goal will be 4.5hrs. but just finishing will be good. I have also had good response from twitter and people may soon start pledging.

1st Taste of running for 15 years
OH my God!!! What a nightmare, I decided to start straight away, I went out for a jog. Running for what seemed miles turned out to be 1/2 mile. 19 mins, That means at that rate it will take me 17 hours to complete the Marathon. Oh My God. I'm Knackered, I can feel my heart pounding. This is going to be hard work. But you know what i enjoyed it. I am going to prove every one wrong. they all doubt me, so "Fat Boy Run", lol. I need a kip.
Paul Signs 2010 Marathon Contract
I can hear you all laughing, YES I have signed a contract to run with Deafness Research UK in the 2010 Virgin London Marathon.
Now i can't even run 26 feet let alone 26 miles. So i have created this blogger website to let people see my progress.
Hopefully my weight will drop and my figure will improve. (Even though it doesn't need too)
So from today i start my new life. Training for 2010.
What have i done!!!!.
Most importantly i have to raise money for the Deafness Research UK charity So Please Please give.
I shall be uploading Pictures, Weight charts etc. So keep looking. Keep laughing and keep Giving.
