Hi, I'm Paul Denman, Typical overweight guy. 35 years of age, 13.8st and a McDonald's Lover. Open my car door and chocolate wrappers fly down the street. Not any more!!!!! I have decided to get my act together and run the 2010 London Marathon. I need to lose weight, train, exercise and get in shape. (stop laughing). Soon i'll be flying down the street.!!
You'll be surprised how quickly you progress. A year ago, I could barely run 1/2 mile. Four weeks ago, I had made it up to 3 miles (but was still struggling). On Saturday I ran 8 miles without a major coronary! My best advice--join a running club or a marathon training class. Best of luck!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments, I am going to join gym, where they have a couple of Marathon runners, so hopefully they can get me on track.(excuse the punt)
